Cloud Donor Manager

Veterans Nonprofit Donation Software

Fundraising and donor management software built for how your organization works.

Posts, lodges, auxiliaries, benevolent funds, memorial funds: your donors give by mail, by monthly gift, and in person at ceremonies and events — and most donor platforms are built for none of those three. Cloud Donor Manager brings giving, letters, events, volunteers and a full donor CRM into one platform.

The honor guard roster, covered.

A funeral detail is scheduling work where a no-show is not an inconvenience — it is an empty place beside a casket. Honor guard and color guard details, funeral and ceremony coverage, event staffing: this is a real roster, often run on a phone tree and one coordinator’s memory.
The members standing the detail and the donors funding the fund are the same community — here they are in the same system.

Publish the detail

Details become opportunities with signup on a public page. No login required for members who will not create accounts.

Build repeatable rosters

Recurring details start from shift templates, with open shifts published and rosters managed in one place.

Release or swap with approval

A member can release a detail or request a swap, with staff approval and a full audit trail.

Remind by text

Shift reminders go out the night before, turning last-minute phone calls into a visible coverage queue.

Your mail donors and your online donors are the same donors.

A meaningful share of this sector’s file gives by mail, in response to a printed appeal — and will never open an email or log into a portal. Here, branded direct-mail letters are generated and printed from inside the platform, using the same donor record, segments and automation engine as email and text.
The unglamorous half is covered too. Suppression and preference management with compliant one-click opt-out handles removal requests. Duplicate find-and-merge with a full audit trail handles households that have been mailed multiple times since old lists were combined.
Lapsed-donor win-back journeys are a named journey type — the mail-plus-email reactivation motion this sector already runs, automated.

Letter

Email

SMS

Gift history

The letter, the email, the SMS and the gift history live on one record.

One patron record instead of four lists

The same patron often exists as a ticket buyer, donor, auction bidder and email subscriber. Consolidation keeps recognition listings accurate.

Retry and recover

Declined gifts are retried automatically. Failed-payment reports flag them, and automation can start from the failed payment itself.

Let donors self-serve

With a passkey, magic link or password, donors update a card, switch to ACH, change an amount, pause, or retrieve their giving history.

Acknowledge every gift

Every recurring gift is acknowledged automatically each time it processes.

Gifts in memory, gifts in honor.

Donors give in honor or in memory, add a personal message, and can choose to notify a loved one that a gift was made in their name. Fund and campaign designations make a named memorial fund a managed destination rather than a note in a comments field. Anonymous giving is available, and every tribute sits on the donor’s full record.

Raise money at the ceremony, the boot drive and the post hall.

This sector’s money arrives in person — the memorial ride, pancake breakfast, boot drive, clay shoot and post canteen — usually on borrowed equipment and always as Monday paperwork.
Online, in-person, kiosk and point of sale activity lands in one ledger and one reconciliation. Explore in-person donations and Text-to-Give.

Tap to Phone

A member’s phone becomes a contactless giving device.

Readers & kiosks

Accept preset amounts at the hall, lobby or event.

Point of sale

Sell coins, patches, shirts and meal tickets on the same account.

Offline capture

Card transactions batch locally and settle after reconnection.

Posts, lodges, chapters and auxiliaries in one system.

Nearly everything in this sector is federated: a national or state body over posts, departments, chapters, lodges, locals and auxiliaries. The platform’s word for each unit is a branch.

01 / SCOPE

Each unit sees its own

Branch-level permissions mean a post officer sees their post’s donors while headquarters sees everything.

02 / ROLLUP

One clean number for the board

Org-wide rollups and global search cover donors, gifts, campaigns and events across units.

The reports your board asks for by name — and the paper trail behind them.

For the board

30+ built-in reports include LYBUNT, SYBUNT, retention, recurring donors, donation summaries and campaign performance. Scheduled reports arrive automatically. An executive dashboard, general ledger view and QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Xero sync keep gift data and the books aligned.

The paper trail

Completed donations trigger professional receipts with the required disclosure language. Year-end summaries generate in bulk. Approval rules cover large gifts, refunds and sensitive record changes, while the audit log records who sent what, when and to whom.

Pricing that does not punish growth.

No platform fees. No per-record growth penalty.
A mail-driven program has one non-negotiable job: grow and maintain a large list. Cloud Donor Manager does not price the database by the record. Donors can opt in to cover processing at checkout, or the organization can absorb a low, volume-based rate.
The processing rate is underwritten to your volume and average gift size. Getting started includes guided CSV import, automatic field mapping, managed migration batches, import history and an undo.

Questions veterans and first responder organizations ask.

Can we send printed appeal letters, not just email?
Yes — branded direct-mail letters are generated and printed from inside the platform, off the same donor record and segments as your email and text. The platform generates and prints the letters; mailing them, address hygiene and presort remain your mail process.
The gift is retried automatically, a failed-recurring-payment report flags it for staff, and an automation can fire on the failed payment itself. Donors also update their own card or switch to ACH in their portal, without calling the office.
Yes. Donors give in honor or in memory, add a personal message, and can choose to notify a loved one that a gift was made in their name — with the gift designated to a named memorial fund from a managed fund list.
Yes. Branch-level scoping with role-based permissions scoped by branch gives each post, lodge or auxiliary its own view, while headquarters sees org-wide rollups and one clean number for the board.
Yes. Card readers and Tap to Phone work on-site, and offline batch capture keeps taking gifts when connectivity drops — transactions batch locally and settle when you reconnect, in the same ledger as everything else.
Yes. Guided CSV import with automatic field mapping, managed migration batches, an import history, and an undo if something looks wrong after the fact — the file comes across, not retyped.
